- Oversee daily operations of the lawn, pest, and plant health division, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
Customer Relations and Education
- Collaborate with the customer care team to handle inquiries and resolve complaints. Conduct site visits and provide guidance on best practices for lawn care, pest management, and plant health.
Hiring and Supervision
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to build a skilled and efficient team.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including pesticide application laws, OSHA standards, and environmental guidelines.
Safety Oversight
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct routine inspections, and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Field Training
- Provide hands-on training to staff on proper application techniques, equipment usage, and safety practices to maintain high service quality.
Scheduling
- Schedule treatment assignments for specialists to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct audits of work to uphold service quality standards, offering feedback to specialists and corrective actions as needed.
Performance Monitoring and Goal Setting
- Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity rates, job costs, labor efficiency, and revenue per crew, monitoring performance to meet sales and production goals.
Budget Management
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and manage the division’s budget and cost control.
Sales Growth
- Collaborate with President and VP of Sales to identify and leverage new market opportunities.
Inventory Management
- Weekly documentation of inventory of supplies, including fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides, ensuring proper storage and weekly updates.
