Hours
This is a full-time plus position with work hours scheduled from Monday to Saturday, starting at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m. or later during busy periods. Evening and weekend work may be required based on job demands, especially during winter months and busy periods. The individual in this role is expected to be the first to arrive at the beginning of the day and the last to leave.

The ability to concentrate on tasks for extended periods without distraction is essential. Additionally, tasks may include bending, stretching, kneeling, digging, and potentially heavy lifting.
Job Summary
The Field Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising landscape maintenance, equipment, and material logistics for projects. This includes safety and quality oversight of detailed installation projects such as trimming, pruning, weeding, spraying, mulch, boulder and stone installation, snow removal, calcium and salt treatments, plowing, and shoveling, ensuring completion within time and budget. The installation and maintenance crews report directly to this position. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, training crew members, ordering and scheduling materials, and collaborating with sales and designers to ensure projects are installed according to design.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Liaising with project management teams to ensure that the project design is accurate before work commences
- Acting as the main point of communication between the main field and the office
- Managing the time off requests timecards for all field staff
- Providing leadership to on-site staff, sub-contractors, and other parties
- Investigating and resolving customer complaints
- Reviewing project progress to ensure that deadlines are met
- Manage projects for desired outcome and client satisfaction
- Manage crews from the beginning of the day to the end on the jobsites
- Obtain materials for delivery or pickup
- Install plants according to design
- Training of crew personnel and employee development on various topics e.g., new techniques, safety, efficiency training, etc.
- Delegating tasks and overseeing the use of tools and equipment
- Assessing progress and making recommendations
- Transport crews and equipment to various sites with trucks and trailers
- Ensuring all crew members obey health and safety regulations at all times
- Overseeing maintenance of lawns and gardens, and ensuring proper use of pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals
- Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections
- No scheduling conflicts must be able to work up to 50 hours per week during busy growing season periods
- 100% attendance is CRUCIAL
- Property inspections to ensure high quality work is achieved
- Collaborates and works with Office and other Team members to ensure customer, employees, and job site needs and quality are met
- Communicates with truck and shop mechanics
