Seasonal Snow Crew Member – Snow Removal Position

Key Responsibilities & Duties
As a Snow Crew Member, you will:
- Operate snow removal equipment, including plows, shovels, small engine machines, and related tools.
- Perform manual snow and ice management, such as shoveling, salting, and spreading materials.
- Complete tasks effectively with attention to detail and organization.
- Troubleshoot and quickly resolve challenges during operations.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with your team.
- Maintain 100% dependability—attendance during snow events is critical.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry weights of 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Perform prolonged physical activities, such as bending, kneeling, stretching, and digging.
- Work in challenging weather conditions, including snow, ice, cold, wind, and rain.
- Stay focused and perform tasks for extended periods without distractions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience working in physically and environmentally demanding conditions.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Ability to operate trucks, plows, loaders, small engine machines, and other snow removal equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for prioritizing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient with smart devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets).
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to handle multiple tasks in high-pressure situations.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: $22.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Hours (On-Call Position)
- Full availability 24/7 is required during snow season (Monday through Sunday).
- Hours depend on weather conditions and operational demand.
- Shifts may include up to 12 hours, including overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Weekly hours are not guaranteed and are based on particular snow or ice events.
Location and Travel
- Routes are local in the South Hills, dispatched from our Bethel Park location.
