Maintenance Manager
Field Operations and Quality Control Oversight
- Manage the daily execution and conduct regular inspections of maintenance and snow services to ensure contract adherence and high-quality work.
- Communicates with Production Coordinator on all maintenance related scheduling goals, weather adjustments, delays.
- Point of contract for all job specific questions from crew leaders.
Team Leadership and Development
- Train, lead, supervise, and develop landscape crews on-site, providing guidance and hands-on training to ensure efficient operations, quality service, and professional growth.
Equipment & Driving Training
- Provide training for crew members on truck and trailer driving, as well as the operation of equipment such as front loader, skid steer, dingo, mowers, blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, sod cutters, aerators, mulch blowers, plows, and salters.
Safety Oversight and Compliance
- Enforce safety regulations and industry standards on job sites through diligent preparation (e.g., use of caulk blocks and safety cones).
- Conduct branch, driving and jobsite safety audits and provide ongoing team training.
Resource Coordination and Equipment Management
- Optimize jobsite labor and equipment allocation for maximum productivity, while ensuring the proper use, operation, and maintenance of landscaping tools and machinery.
Best Practices and Innovations
- Promote sustainable landscaping methods by overseeing environmentally responsible practices and implementing the latest techniques to improve service quality and efficiency.
Service Call Management
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure timely responses and resolutions to service call requests.
Customer Feedback and Improvement
- Collect client feedback after service completion and implement improvements based on their input to maintain satisfaction and enhance service quality.
Collaboration with Other Departments
- Work closely with the operations team and other departments to align maintenance services with overall business objectives and client expectations.
