To ensure the best results for our clients and maintain the health of their lawns, please follow the process outlined below when handling lawns that require aeration, seeding, and composting:
Aeration and Seeding #
- Regular Mowing Continuation: After aerating and seeding a lawn, continue with the regular mowing schedule without disruption.
- Weather Considerations: If the lawn is too wet, postpone mowing to prevent damage to the lawn and equipment. Resume mowing on the next suitable day.
Seeding and Composting #
- Mowing Suspension: After seeding and composting, avoid mowing the lawn for a minimum of 3–4 weeks. This allows the seeds to germinate and establish strong roots without disturbance.
- Monitoring Growth: At the 3-week mark, check the lawn’s progress to ensure healthy growth and address any issues such as lack of water, disease from overwatering, or watering in the evening. This is also an opportunity to recommend service additions, such as our lawn program.
Communication #
- Client Notification: Inform clients about the temporary changes in their mowing schedule and the reasons behind them. Ensure they understand the benefits of these practices for their lawn’s health.
- Team Coordination: Keep the team updated on any schedule adjustments and ensure everyone is aware of the specific needs of each lawn.
By adhering to this process, we can provide consistent, high-quality service while promoting the long-term health and beauty of our clients’ lawns.
Thank you for your attention to detail and commitment to excellence!
