Afternoon Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Checks #
- Clean out all garbage from trailers and the interior of trucks; keep a garbage bag in trailers.
- Keep the laydown material area free of debris by blowing off excess into designated bins.
- Ensure that dumpster doors are closed to prevent animals from entering.
- Keep the property free of garbage by regularly disposing of waste.
- Check fuel levels in vehicles, mower cans, and mulch blowers, refilling as necessary to avoid disruptions.
Weekly Organizational and Maintenance Checks #
- Schedule a weekly meeting with crew leaders at 6:30 am sharp while drivers complete truck/trailer checks.
- Verify that all trailers have a complete first aid kit and fire extinguisher, with crew lead training required.
- Wash trucks and trailers.
- Clean wheels and apply shine.
- Broom sweep and wipe down the interior of the truck.
- Clean windows using glass shine. Do not use tire shine on glass.
