Landscape Construction Crew Member

Job Summary

The Landscape Construction Crew Member role involves assisting in various tasks such as building hardscapes, lighting, water features, stone, mulch and plants, and other landscaping and snow removal activities. This position is responsible for contributing to the completion of projects within the allocated time and budget.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in a variety of landscaping tasks, including building hardscapes, lighting, water features, stone, mulch and plants, and other landscaping and snow removal activities
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project execution
  • Maintain high standards of landscape maintenance to meet design specifications
  • Participate in training activities to enhance skills and support team development
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of landscaping tools and equipment
  • No scheduling conflicts must be able to work up to 60 hours per week if needed
  • 100% attendance is CRUCIAL
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • Understanding of physical labor
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Collaborates and works with Office, staff, and other Field Production Supervisor to ensure customer, employees, and job site needs and quality are met
  • Communicates with truck and shop mechanics
  • Creates systems and processes to increase efficiency
  • Complies with all SOP’s regarding assigned position

Required Education and Licenses

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured on company policy

Required Work Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape construction
  • Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions
  • One year of hands-on experience in the industry
  • Self-motivated, well organized, and professional
  • Collaboration experience but comfortable working alone or without supervision for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials as needed
  • Demonstrated Problem Solving/Analysis skills
  • Excellent Customer Service and Client Focus
  • Ability to maintain composure and keep a positive, friendly attitude

FLSA Status

Non-Exempt, Hourly, seasonal full-time position.

Pay and Benefits

Compensation: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience. Additional benefits include paid training and industry certifications.

Hours

This is a seasonal full-time plus position, and hours of work and days COULD be scheduled anytime between 6:45am – 5:30pm depending on business needs, Monday through Saturday.

Location and Travel

This job operates in at various job sites.
