Join our team and help keep our community safe during winter weather. We’re hiring motivated Seasonal Snow Plow Drivers for high-quality snow and ice removal.
First, the part that matters most
You need to be on call 24/7 all winter.
Snow doesn’t wait for a convenient hour. When a storm comes, we go.
What that means:
- Be reachable and ready to report within 1 hour, any time of day or night, all season. We watch the weather around the clock and set dispatch times in advance for most storms. The one-hour rule is for the ones that surprise us.
- Expect overnight and early-morning starts. Weekends and holidays included, Thanksgiving and Christmas among them.
- Shifts can run 12 hours or longer. Big storms sometimes run across two or three days.
- Every call-out matters. If one driver doesn’t show, the whole route falls behind and customers get left in the snow.
- The commitment runs November 1 to March 31— and it doesn’t have to end there. Many of our drivers stay on year-round with our landscaping crews.
If a second job, a class schedule, or family obligations would keep you from answering the phone at 2:00 AM in January, this isn’t the right job — and it’s better for both of us to know that now.
What you’ll be doing
- Driving a company truck with a plow and mounted salter on assigned routes
- Clearing snow and ice at homes and businesses
- Spreading salt and loading materials before each event
- Running snow blowers and other small equipment
- Shoveling and salting by hand where the truck can’t reach
- Checking in with dispatch as you work through your route
What you need to have
Required:
- Valid PA driver’s license with a clean record
- Ablity to optain a DOT medical card (company paid)
- Ablity to operate a front loader, truck mounted plow and skid steer
- Able to be insured on our company policy
- Previous plowing and truck-mounted salting experience
- A phone you’re comfortable using for GPS and texting

What the work is really like
You’ll be outside, in winter, for hours at a time. Specifically:
- Lifting 50+ pounds over and over through a shift
- Bending, kneeling, shoveling, and digging
- Working in snow, ice, wind, and temperatures well below freezing
- Staying sharp and awake through long overnight runs
- Getting in and out of the truck dozens of times a route
